**NEW SCAM ALERT**
We have been made aware of a new scam where the scammers are mimicing the phone number of our local banks, calling actual customers of that banking institution, and stating that someone is attempting to open a line of credit in the customers name. The scammer will verify the customer address and other important information. They will then ask the customer to submit a copy of their government issued identification for verification.
Please do not send them a copy of your identification or give any banking information.
Hang up and contact your bank directly for additional information.
